Robbie Stockdale is a former professional footballer who played as a defender from 1997 to 2012. He played for Middlesbrough in the Premier League and represented clubs such as Sheffield Wednesday, West Ham United, Rotherham United, Hull City, and Darlington. Stockdale had a stint at Tranmere Rovers in the 2008-2009 season before moving to Grimsby Town. He is currently the assistant manager of EFL League Two club Gillingham and has also taken on the role of manager at Rochdale, signing a two-year deal. Stockdale has been capped five times for Scotland.
